ive got this thing in my head telling me that itll go wrong more cos its 6 years older than my current car. thats the only thing putting me off at the moment.
i would prefer to go fully comp on a car like that, and the difference of the insurance i have to pay can be mostly made up with selling my nearly new wheels and the difference of the price i sell my car for.
so basically, i could simply "swap" my car for the williams. :)
fully comp 10months. i added my old dear and it came up as £1594.09 fully comp or £1115.72 TPFT.
the thing is id feel better having fully comp, but is it worth it seeing as the williams is much older than my current car?
Right, ive got the opportunity to buy a williams 3, but i want to know whether the insurance would be affordable. At the moment i pay £830 on my 1.4 with 2 years NCD at the age of 20.
What do you reckon ill be looking at to insure a williams? also should i go fully comp like i am now or...
yup, thats what i paid.. £354 including delivery. when i registered it i just put in for the dealer "trading direct" as this is what was on all of my receips. is this right cos i didnt have the dealer code at the time.
oh, to get your old ones out use a credit card so that u dont damage your paint. they can be a bit hard to get out but slide the card under them and lever them out. :)
yes they will fit fine. ive done it! u can use your existing bulbs but they will flash white. By law they must flash orange so u need to buy some orange bulbs... i paid £3 for these bulbs...
your after Mike172sport...
but i can help...
yes they will fit, they just clip in the existing holes. they dont come with any bulbs and you will have to buy some orange bulbs to keep your car road legal.
hope this helps.
.... using optimax instead of cheap unleaded would it make a difference. The reason im asking is because ive always used the cheap crap then suddenly changing to the better stuff cant make any difference can it?
take the dash off to hide all the wires behind it. then run the antenna lead under the door seal and behind the rear panels to mount it next to the parcel shelf.
theres a guide for taking your dash off in the members section.... pay a fiver to join and ull have access to it! ;)
