I would say the clutch disc could be contaminated or the lining of the friction disc has come apart, unfortunately the only way to sort it would be taking the box off and quiet
possibly changing the clutch.
Its probably the steering rack bushes as mine is doing the same, and haven't got round to changing them yet.
If its not these then it could be ball joints, track rod ends or something else, its hard to tell without seeing it
you can't use nylon threaded nuts as the heat will cause them to come loose, from previous experience, i would say get a genuine kit
and check its fitted in correct way
mine has started to do the same but havn't got round to looking at it, i think its the heater panel bulbs or possibly a fuse or two not sure yet, i might try have a look at it next week.
I would agree with you on this as my previous car was a cat d but i bought on an ebay auction, and didn't know it had been involved in a rear end shunt in 2005, but made the mistake with out checking its background.
