Car will be used on road and track days. Phase 2 non cup. Will eb poly bushing it too and already got cobra techniks mounts. What's everyone's opinion? (Am I right in thinking cup chicks will fit too?)
I've been in the process of changing clutch and gearbox as the diff went. That side of things has all gone well and works fine but I can't seem to bleed the water system for the life in me. The heaters are wArm and temp gauge rises to around half , fan kicks in etc. top rad hose gets hot but...
So say it was moved 4 inches up to sit in bumper, the centre section or back box won't foul on the bottom of the car. Sorry for so many questions, just don't want to order one and be stuck with a useless cut out in the bumper haha
Does the scorpion hang under the bumper? Or does it fot into a cut out in the rear bumper like a ktec? My car already has a cut out in the rear bumper from previous owner. Thanks
bought this car about a week, only paid 800 with 84000 miles and just had new de phaser aparantly. Diff has gone in gearbox, seller tried passing it off as drive shaft, not botherd as its a track / fast road project . But just wondered if anyone knows any previous owners etc to try and find some...
Okay thanks. Does the sub frame need to be removed completely? Or can I just loosen it and drop one side? I'm in two minds whether to pay a garage or do it myself. I'm a motorcycle mechanic by trade but a bit worried about space and how high I can get it on axle stands etc. Is it a real pain of...
apart from a clutch alignment tool and torque wrench. What other tools do I need to swap the gearbox and clutch on my 172 that you wouldn't gind in your regular socket set / tool box? Cheers
