With the key in the start position hit the starter motor and see if it starts working if it's a sticking starter motor nine times out of ten it makes it work,otherwise do a volt drop test at the starter motor and make sure it's getting 12v when the circuit is being loaded

I wouldn't say that's the tdc sensor,I would go for the throttle body maybe take it off and give it a clean or u may have a dephaser issue or the valve that controls it,have u had it clip checked for faults?it would also show if your dephaser was working correctly. Ryan
