DS1.11 all the way! Used them on my Clio and Octavia on the road no problem. When they start squealing they just need a good heat cycle.
Another option is EBC bluestuff. Good cold bite, no squeal and last ages. Oh and they're cheap.
If its the mechatronics unit then the cost of the fix is nowhere near as eye watering as it used to be, plus the unit can be changed with the engine and box in situ.
To low of an offset for my MR2 so up for sale. £100 collected for you lot.
Would fit nicely onto a BMW E30 as they have 57.1mm spigot rings and low offset.

As mentoned I'd go with a second set of wheels with dedicated track rubber like AR1's. You can fit a spare set of wheels (and exhaust) in there even with the passenger seat in situ
Maybe, shame really as the 100's were an excellent. I've just sold my set from the Skoda to my mate for his EP3. He cannot believe the levels of grip they produce from cold and just keep getting better with heat.
I wouldn't go with the NS2R 180's Dan as I found them lethal on my roadster as you just cant get any heat into them on the road, OK on track once warm but start to go off quickly when pushing on. I sold mine which were nearly new and used my Nankang AR1's instead as they are much better in all...
Falken FK510 are brilliant for the money. I had them on my heavy Mondeo ST TDCI in 225/40/18 and loved them. Also had the GY Efficient grip and F1 5's which were also very good just a bit softer sidewalls than the FK510's.
You wont need 8J wheels for a Clio. They'll require at least a 215 section tyre which is more expensive.
Stick with 7J and go with a 205 section tyre for dry track days.
Just seeing if this is any good to anyone before I stick it on eBay for all the midlands mouth breathers to try and mug me off over.
Car is rolling, however no brakes . 130k Engine and gearbox still in the car along with the remapped ECU which would be great for a conversion of some kind or...
Tidy, low mileage, TF300 turbo roadster here. 250hp/230lbs in one of these would feel special. You probably wouldn't lose money once you wanted to shift in on either.
You'd have to sign up to MR2ROC if interested.

The insurance has just ran out on the MR2 and has got me thinking. Why am I paying £500 a year for insuring a car that hardly gets used. So got me thinking about day insurance instead. Just done a quote online and its only £20 a day. I very rarely go out on the road as its pointless as you cant...
I've recently bought 4 used medium hankook full slicks in 200/580/15 but one of them isnt usable so only have 3. These dont come up often used so doubt I'll get a single or even a pair withoutbuying new. I also would prefer a wider rear tyre.
So a pair of new medium Dunlop CR311 tarmac rally...
200 is defo more track focused and quicker with better handling. Parts are much cheaper as well. Only downside would be reliability as the Civic seem better in this aspect, but if you budget in a gearbox rebuild and cam service if not already done you will be good to go.
