Did end up fiddling some more, obviously not a Clio but might give someone an idea.
I had the brace across the top to stop it wobbling on the single metal upright of the original battery holder so decided the full bracket was kind of pointless. Bent up a piece of aluminium to match the bracket...
I've only started having the charger plugged in the last couple of days to be honest but I've not noticed anything get hot.
If you mean it doesn't sound like it's a smart charger from my comment that the CTek Panel light is blinking green all the time I mean that even if the charger is not...
Asked this when I was buying mine, Green Spark Plug Company got in touch with "their supplier" (Powerlite themselves I guess) - "The charger is a smart charger and turns itself off once it is charged." I'm with you and just want to plug it in without messing around isolating it.
I've hidden a...
I did this, then put the polystyrene type insulation in between the bracing, so the opposite of what you're suggesting (I think I wanted the more white than silver on view...). Got a couple of draught excluders on the top too (inside on the door/outside on the wooden frame), never got round to...
Looking at those Powerlite ones now for my car. Currently it’s driven a few times a month with the odd trackday thrown in and is hooked up to a Ctek charger when not in use. The car is alarmed/stereo fitted so there is some drain when not in use, never had an issue as long as it is on charge...
I switched to Nilfisk after 3 dead Karchers. Had it nearly 4 years without issue.
Bought it from here - https://www.cleanstore.co.uk/
Bought one for my parents from Amazon last year too.
Ended up with a new PC in Nov so this has been ignored since. Got a week working away from Wed though so will take the PS4 and try to finish it.
Tried the online thing at Christmas...doesn't really have the same draw as GTA (cars!).
Swapped the cooler, went for a 650 PSU, changed the motherboard to the ASUS TUF B450-PLUS GAMING, ditched the soundcard for one half the price and stuck Windows on it properly rather than cheaping out.
Job done. Can I stop playing on the lowest of all graphics now? :)
Decided it's time to retire my 9 odd year old computer. Not paid any real attention to new hardware (computers in general!) in the same amount of time so if anyone can cast an eye over this I'd be grateful.
Have been browsing Scan any pretty much copied one of their systems with a couple of...
Got Firewall Zero Hour last night. Basically a 4v4 tactical shooter, one team defending a laptop, the other attacking.
Really enjoyed it despite needing to reset a couple of times (tracking on the aim controller went mental)! Was best when I was in a fairly chatty server.
Can only use a PSVR on PS4.
You'll probably need a Drivehub to get the G27 working on a PS4.
I've only really played GT-Sport with the PSVR + the above (except a Fanatec wheel). It's good but the VR mode is currently limited to 1vs1 with AI (far too easy) and time trial mode.
You can also...
I bought this the other week, almost finished it over a couple of sessions but it's been great. It has a recreation of the lobby scene from the Matrix where you need to save "Mr Sanderson"!
I used templates to create the basic colours with spray paint, scanned it into the computer, then overlayed the original picture to pick out all the detail by changing various colour settings.
I've got a thread on the go with other examples and just ones done on paper...
