A vote for doing it by hand here, I got much better results than using the kit. Although I do seem to have to do it roughly once a year before it starts fading again...
Not enough characters in that key!
Downloaded Jellybean, thanks. I'll try and slave it tomorrow but not sure if I have the right connections for a laptop drive... thing is it was never a standalone version of Windows 7 so still not sure if it's going to help! Dell's website is useless for...
Missus laptop died a while back and I want to bring it back to life. I have a spare HDD but she doesn't have any installation discs etc. so how can I get Windows on it? You can download an ISO from Microsoft but there's no product key on the laptop itself, only Dell reference numbers.
Quoted £460 'mates rates' seemed like an alright guy (recommended by a friend of the girlfriends family) he's busy with work which is always a good sign lol, can't book us in for a month... however he did say he's going to put the new side strip on then spray it... not sure about that, surely it...
Got 2/3 of mine up and running now (no more screw in connections lol) and I'm having a party at the weekend... looking for something to make them slowly fade through all the colours. Got an app called Hue Party which works well, but the lights aren't in sync! Each one runs through its own colour...
All was fine by the time she got home (late shift) but I think anyone would be royally pissed off! It was completely and utterly avoidable that's the thing... if she just stopped and thought about it for a second or caved in and asked me to do it all would be fine. She's a strong, independent...
Whoops I forgot too! Here we go
Here's what we started with!
So at first, to be honest, I wasn't that impressed initially. I found the product quite hard to get out the bottle and working properly with a microfibre or applicator pad... this did get easier after some usage...
Isn't that what was posted above but for £10 more lol? I'd rather just replace than bother with a repair for that price.
However this is now the least of my worries!
Wicked mate do you have any contact details? I'm half tempted to just sell up and move on... only wanted to keep the car for another year or so anyway. Thing is it'd be worth nothing now innit and to be honest for £3,000 there just isn't anything better than a Clio 182 is there!?
The missus has...
Thanks for the tips again guys, she's got a quote of someone already for £450 so at least she's being proactive about it
We're cool now, it's just (both) our mums that are being annoying about it! Buzz off... no one elses business really!
Oh I'll make her pay  only problem is she doesn't have any money and already owes me £500... so I guess I'm paying now, and adding it on to her lengthy slate! Had her mum on the phone having a go at me for having a go at her. I think, if there's ever a situation where you can have a go at...
