Just got another call from EE which I managed to answer this time... it's ready for collection tomorrow :D get in! I just walked into town last Saturday btw and it took about 5 minutes to pre-order, definitely doing that again in future, sod using the internet!
Totally agree man! Cases for iPhone's are like bonnet bras in the car world... never understood it myself. Had iPhone's for 4 years now and never damaged one, and have had all this time to admire the beautiful product for what it is. Just be a little careful people, and you'll be fine :)
I got a missed call too! Was yours from an actually store rather than their call centre? I phoned back but they were shut... really hoping they want to inform me my iPhone is definitely going to be in, and not that it's been delayed for weeks lol.
My girlfriend has this a while back, I think it was because Microsoft updated some security thing. Can you not click through and get on it to? I think she had to acknowledge something, been fine since.
This is two completely different houses, she's with Virgin, and I'm with EE. It was the same on my old router, brand new router, and I even borrowed a mate's for trial. I've also connected to my iPhone 5S over the 4G hotspot (where I get around the same kind of speeds of 14Mb/s)
Did actually...
Well my girlfriend has Netflix and a 40Mb/s line... it still stalls a few times each showing. It's liveable, definitely, but not perfect. We even have this guy at work with a 150Mb/s fibre optic line who stays streaming still stalls for him too! So I'm definitely, definitely not alone here. I'm...
In general...
Tried it from my PS3 many times and it always breaks up. Can't even simply 'copy' from PS3 over Wi-Fi, always fails. Streaming 4oD or iPlayer never makes it a full programme either, this is on multiple devices and using different connections in more than one house! I think they...
Mate's just moved into his apartment and Vodafone is dead there, no signal at all. Has to go outside his door and about 10 meters into the car park... I'm on EE and get 3 bars of 4G. Both iPhone 5S! Crazy.
You can right click and use Play To (or something similar) if you're running Windows 8 to an Xbox One... but I'd never trust streaming, just isn't reliable enough.
I had to pay a £10 deposit to reserve mine for collection... he talked about tariffs but nothing in concrete, which is actually okay with me as I might change what I originally wanted. Said I'd get an email of confirmation straight away but I didn't! Though he gave me a print out.
Not always, if we compare the two over 24 months...
From Apple iPhone 6 64Gb is £619 + £23 p/m SIM only deal on EE = £1,171
EE 24 month contract iPhone 6 64Gb is £360 + £34 p/m = £1,176
I appreciate the Apple one is cheaper by £5 but, you're only getting 4Gb data on that, whereas EE contract...
Well it just seemed to me like the sole reason for getting a Plus would be extra big screen for browsing and perhaps streaming movies etc. all of which is data related... but as he's explained, he's usually on Wi-Fi. Fair does :) I have 8Gb per month atm but I seem to regularly go over the 5Gb...
Just out of interest why would you go for a 6 Plus but only 1Gb of data? Seems like an odd combination.
Mine's ordered now, going in-store is definitely the way forwards, literally took 5 minutes. Unfortunately didn't have an ETA though, although I note the 64Gb silver 6 has been pushed back to...
Someone who lives in the cloud? Perfectly doable, though not for me... luckily I was thinking of going 64Gb this time round anyway (always been 32Gb before)
I shall be going for £360 up front and £34 per month for a 64Gb iPhone 6 with unlimited/unlimited/10Gb data. Also includes 'super fast 4GEE' rather than 'normal 4G' lol does anyone know what speed that'll be roughly?
What if the Apple Watch was round?

Looks so awesome in comparison to what we actually got! I would 100% buy this...
EE's website was terrible this morning. Finally got into it and there's no upgrade option available on my account even though it says contract ends 21st September and my upgrade is available from August :S called them at work but the pager went off after 25 minutes waiting so had to give that...
I've had this discussion before dude, it's all a con... I've been driving for 11 years and have never protected my NCB. I guess it costs somewhere between £50-100 to do so, so lets call it £75.
£75 x 11 years = £825 I've saved, compared with the £20 increase I got.
I'll definitely not be...
