Right! A day of testing, and I've even drawn a picture to show my results. Let me just add that the 12v on the regulator is exactly the same whether you're using the passenger side or driver's side switch. Although, I did notice the up switch on the driver's side seems slightly temperamental in...
Clio 200T is DOA imo... just hope they learn from it and makes changes next generation, would be a tragedy if they gave up on the Clio Renaultsport altogether :(
I purposely didn't get a cup packed one this time around as I knew I wanted to change everything that it involved... i.e. Speedline's, carbon fibre splitter and coilovers (didn't quite get round to getting myself a Trophy spoiler!)
I'd swap for a Cup for one reason only, which is that I'm bored...
I'd just reapply it without properly measuring then be pissed off every time I walk up to the car for eternity noticing that it's wonky and then eventually sell the car because of it but never forget.
Checked as in tried the driver's side but it doesn't work either... although the driver's side window works fine. Oh man, more investigations i.e. taking that door card off too!? What's there to check though, voltage again?
Earth is 0v isn't it? If so, yes that's what I get.
I recorded what I can hear, one way you get nothing, but the way you can hear it clicking...
After the wiring loom I posted about, is there anything else between that and the UCH?
Yeah mate's back from being in New Zealand for a year and has £2,000 to spend on a car. I just can't not recommend a Clio 182! It's just impossible not to, there's nothing better out there for the money.
If you're going that far why not just fit a different engine? Drop a 1.8 16v in there at the very least... seems like a lot of work for not much gain on a 1.4 really. Most will say save up for a Renaultsport!
My cheap 182 that's been brilliant was bought on 109k... my expensive 182 that was a s**t heap was on 45k :dead: so for me at least, mileage means nothing.
Fair play mate I would say people are slightly paranoid on here lol. What do you reckon about water pump and coolant changes at the same time too, more unnecessary expense or worth doing?
I always thought these were rather bland, looks terrible from the rear. If it were me I'd go for an Integra DC5... but at least the S15 is different I suppose. Wheels look mint at least! Better than I was driving at that age, I had 55bhp
Looks smart that mate. I think the wheels in silver would make them 'pop' a bit more mind, any additional plans? Great location for the photos too! Take it they were from a dSLR and not a smartphone?
I agree they should have sorted them out after the complaints started coming in... but ultimately isn't it Recaro's fault? They make the seats after all.
I've followed a thread on here about the UCH and the tests I performed are pointing to it not being that... although it still could be of course.
I've tested voltage on the connector to the regulator and it has 12v but it seems like it might be doing the opposite to what it should, i.e...
Right, sorry about another thread on this but it's just getting more puzzling every week! Got to the point where I'm actually laughing about it now. Situation is my passenger side window isn't working... ordered new regulator, changed it, no difference. Thought I'd get the wiring loom that...
