    Service - Essex

Cheers guy, help much appreciated! Simple question... but as I said I've never actually had a service done before. How long does a service take? Just wondering if I drive up to Chelmsford or Harlow do I hang around for the day lol.

    Service - Essex

Hi don't want to do it myself as I can't stamp it :o I've spoken to Mark Fish before over email regarding the cam/aux change, and he said no point in doing it until 5yrs/72k, I asked for a price anyway but he never got back to me. I understand he is probably very busy though and have heard...

    Swap my v6 for a 197?

Tough one. Id be tempted for a LY R27, but apart from that keep the V6 I reckon.

    Just a few questions

    Got stats in front of me saying... 172 = 1035Kg 182 = 1090Kg
  6. CrippsCorner

    Service - Essex

I'm about to get my first ever service :rasp: My car's in the past have either not been worth enough to warrant it, or on sky high miles. The Clio is the first I definitely wanna keep on top of! So... I hit 48k last night. Up until now the services have been... 12k @ Renault Romford 24k @...

    Induction Kits

I've heard it's the only one worth gettin. The Viper is made for all cars which puts me off a bit, seems a bit 'universal' if you know what Im saying?

    Xmas Eve: Norm Loves Camber

Holy s**t that's low. Would be worth loosing the splitter to get it looking that good :star:

    Moody Manchester...

s**t that photo at the end is cool, can I pretend it's my car please? :approve:

self made spread of my Clio

Thats brilliant mate! Wouldn't mind my car being done like that :rasp:
  11. CrippsCorner

    bye bye clio

Slam it on Octavia wheels ftw! Guessing he got it to save money? Seats are nasty apart from that not bad cars after a bit of tinkering with.
  12. CrippsCorner

My 182, standard wheels back on

Looks nice man what suspension is it sitting on?
  13. CrippsCorner

    CS Sticker location

Hate it at the top of the window! Can't see police lights (when they're off) on the car behind you, lol. I'm gonna order two silver ones for the rear windows soon...

    first service

For reference, here's the link to K-Tec's service for a 1.2 on 36k... http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_service.asp?id=23 Guess it won't be too much different to that?
  15. CrippsCorner

    aux change

Think realistically only the Cup ones are easy enough to do your self. Get a garage to do it!
  16. CrippsCorner

    Nice start to Christmas Eve

Gutted for you mate! My bro's Subaru got done the other week :dapprove:
  17. CrippsCorner

standard 182 looking to get all extras

There's hardly any difference in height tbh. What are you looking for? Looks or handling performance? Look towards getting coilovers if the later, if you just want to loose the gap look at some springs from K-Tec or look in the group buy I started about getting some custom ones made for any...

    Decisions...

I agree with Focus RS... or Teg DC5?
  19. CrippsCorner

Would you pay more for a 197 just because of Xenons??

Wouldn't pay a grand no way, £500 max. Even still, they're only lights, who cares
  20. CrippsCorner

    Respray quote (I lol'd, hard)

I got my CRX fully resprayed, inside doors, inside boot, different colour to what it was, front and rear bumpers both repaired (rear had fallen down, front was cracked) all for... £550 :D Not sayin it's the best job in the world but still looking good four years later!
  21. CrippsCorner

    V Maxx coilovers?

    Says 70mm on ebay, 50mm on K-Tec?
  22. CrippsCorner

Engine light on - O2 Sensor at Fault, Is it ok to drive ?

Drove mine for ages with it on. It does feel a bit rough but nothing dangerous imo as long as the revs aren't sticking? Probably why he said that is that it comes up as a red error (major) on Clip, where, iirc, they're not meant to let you out the garage without clearing the fault.
  23. CrippsCorner

    Misfiring at low revs...

Your upstream sensor is the one before the CAT, often seem to go wrong as I've learnt from here! Clip is the diagnostic equipment that Renault put your car through.

    HAND HELD CODE READER

I probably will when my bonus comes through. It's just a) it's annoying to replace something just so a light goes out! and b) I might be taking a trip down to K-Tec soonish anyway so was just wondering...
  25. CrippsCorner

    fuk it, gettin slammed lol

I don't understand this phrase? :D So how comes people say that 60mm springs aren't low enough, when the lowest coilovers I can find for a 182 are 50mm, but they're meant to be lower?
  26. CrippsCorner

    Stickers

I wouldn't mind knowing this either actually, and the rings! Please don't say ebay :S
  27. CrippsCorner

    HAND HELD CODE READER

Bumpity bump... mostly asking about this bit now tbh as I think the other route is a dead end!?
  28. CrippsCorner

    Misfiring at low revs...

Upstream lambda sensor? Get it on Clip...
  29. CrippsCorner

    HAND HELD CODE READER

From K-Tec... http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2400 One question for anyone that's used one... Now my EML comes on because my downstream lambda sensor is knackered, which doesn't effect the car's performance. I reset this with Clip, and it lasts usually around 50 miles...

my rx7 (a couple of pics)

Absolutely my favourite jap motor ever... If only I could insure one :dapprove: I will own one one day though! Absolutely beautiful mate.
