Cheers guy, help much appreciated! Simple question... but as I said I've never actually had a service done before. How long does a service take? Just wondering if I drive up to Chelmsford or Harlow do I hang around for the day lol.

Think realistically only the Cup ones are easy enough to do your self. Get a garage to do it!

There's hardly any difference in height tbh. What are you looking for? Looks or handling performance? Look towards getting coilovers if the later, if you just want to loose the gap look at some springs from K-Tec or look in the group buy I started about getting some custom ones made for any...

I got my CRX fully resprayed, inside doors, inside boot, different colour to what it was, front and rear bumpers both repaired (rear had fallen down, front was cracked) all for... £550 :D Not sayin it's the best job in the world but still looking good four years later!

Drove mine for ages with it on. It does feel a bit rough but nothing dangerous imo as long as the revs aren't sticking? Probably why he said that is that it comes up as a red error (major) on Clip, where, iirc, they're not meant to let you out the garage without clearing the fault.

Your upstream sensor is the one before the CAT, often seem to go wrong as I've learnt from here! Clip is the diagnostic equipment that Renault put your car through.

I don't understand this phrase? :D So how comes people say that 60mm springs aren't low enough, when the lowest coilovers I can find for a 182 are 50mm, but they're meant to be lower?

From K-Tec... http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2400 One question for anyone that's used one... Now my EML comes on because my downstream lambda sensor is knackered, which doesn't effect the car's performance. I reset this with Clip, and it lasts usually around 50 miles...

Absolutely my favourite jap motor ever... If only I could insure one :dapprove: I will own one one day though! Absolutely beautiful mate.
