I had the scuttle panel off to disconnect mine on Saturday and that was a quick 5 min job so another 5 to remove the old plug and fit the new one its not difficult at all.

I've about a 30 min commute in mine but I was fine this morning. I've mine disconnected as I couldn't do with the blowing constantly in my ear! lol

It's just under the scuttle panel on the drivers side. There is a clip and plastic rivet holding it in and there is a locating piece on the left side of the panel so may need moved to the right to remove. I will be doing mine next weekend and I'll take pics as I do.

Ok so the resistor pack is away in my 172 (as above), I priced a new pack from my local Renault dealer at £120. I don't mind paying that but they can be picked up for £25 on ebay. My question is has anyone had any experience with these packs of ebay? Did they work, did they last ect?

I bought this very car last night and was looking for a replacement antenna and stumbled across this thread on Google! Car is still in real good condition and has the CS sticker on the back and the tax disc holder. Paintwork is in top condition and it is still a very fit 172.
