I might actually make this, Trackday/Weekend at Rockingham coming up and we are heading back up the road on the Monday, Need to drop a mate of in EK so depending on the time i may pop over to this for a scran
Ah good to see your still posting utter shite Joe, The other forum you got banned from hasn't been the same without the utter pish and offensive stuff you used to post.
Thanks for brightening my morning.
On an out and out race car then yeah i would maybe go all out in terms of stripping, Considering yours actually has a bit of power compared to the majority of 1*2's i wouldn't bother. Your really not going make a noticeable difference, Other than the noise and comfort which would soon get on...
RS250 prices have been stable for quite a while now, I personally don't see them getting much cheaper for a while. Certainly won't loose that much more than its competitors. The massive depreciation on them has already happened. FWIW mine has only "lost" ~3k or so since i bought it 3 years ago...
I'm in the middle of fitting shiny parts to mine so I'll get a decent write up later. In short though. Mega car out the box. Ice had mine for 3 years and genuinely dint know what I would replace it with. Was going to go for an M3 but in terms of outright performance it would be a step back.
Cup...
Jesus, Are people really that stupid that they would even consider using cheap harness'? Darwin award please.
If you really want to cheap out on something as important as a harness then at least look at something second hand from a reputable brand, Probably something out of date will be right...

Road Tax isn't used to fix the roads FYI.
Looks good Philip, Nice to see something other than a massive can for your exhaust, Kakimoto make great stuff, Infact my mates old 180SX with a similar system is still the best sounding SR I've heard, His was running a TD06 with external screamer...

@Ph1 Tom If it was mapped to be very linear then it should be fine, One of my friends had a forged engine build with a GTX28 on his Megane pushing 400+ and it was fine, Felt stock until it came on full boost but had no traction issues other than the usual 1st gear stuff like all high power FWD...
That for an exchange turbo?
New Hybrid is £1145, Mapping/Injectors is £645 plus £200 for labour then add VAT onto of that, Soon gets expensive. Especially once you add in a decent FMIC on top of that.
Thats RST prices, Could probably save a bit by getting it fitted elsewhere but i don't have...
Im averaging 25mpg but its all fast A roads i drive daily, On a run from Kilmarnock>Fife on Saturday i seen 34mpg sitting at 90ish but it will do 40+ on a proper Eco run.
Single figures when on it though.
Had this in at Ecotune for a map on Friday as it always felt underpowered and not running how it should of, Now running 333bhp and similar torques. Increases of 40bhp/torque.
For now I'm going to sack off the Hybrid turbo as the 2.5k for an extra 20/30bhp just isn't justifiable for now. Will...
Lovely cars these, bar the hideous interior.
I'll join the camp of passing one up a few years ago as well, Still regret not buying it at times. So much more "special" than the Mk2 is IMO.
BCS systems sound incredible as well, You have probably seen Jacks massive power/big money build from up...
OTT? Hardly, its setup like that for a reason. Have a look at any of the many, many hilllclimb Evo's/Imprezas/Any boosted stuff even, That compete on the continent. Vast majority of them run mental ALS
