Bolt spacing wise they will yeah, but you need to check the centre bore to see if they go on the hub and also the offset to see if they catch on anything.

Luck of the draw really, but tensioner failure, waterpump failure, power steering failure, various pulley failures. Many variables. They either shred or jump off and go down between the two pulleys. Can happen on pretty much any engine running this setup.

Not much you can do as it runs off the crank like this (big pulley on the left) Even with the lower cover over the cam belt, it's still exposed underneath

You can use one of those paint de-nib things, it's like a sharp metal block which shaves the paint off. Use with caution.

You can get Bilstein B14 for less than the BC's. You won't have as much adjustability but they're much better than Vmaxx.

A standard Clio vs a standard Megane are pretty much the same at around 170 bhp per ton. Stick with the Clio as parts and consumables will be cheaper.
