I’ve got some of the coin pattern stuff and it’s held up well to the abuse over the last few years. Only issue I’ve had is you get any solvents on it they will make it sticky.

Cup packed cars have 15mm wide rings, normal ones are 7mm. Both will work its just difficult getting the thinner rings in the correct position on a cup packed 182.

They go off the plated weight not the actual weight so your way over on a standard license I'm afraid.

Sky’s the limit on engine rebuilds, I’d budget a £1000 minimum for a basic rebuild if your getting someone to do the work.

I hate getting tyres fitted, the only time there hasn't been a f**k up is when I was stood next to the guy doing it. Decide I'm going to get the alloy refurb place to fit the tyres when I get them sorted, if they make a mess they can repair it.

Common issue, rust develops behind in the wheel arch and comes through, often in the fuel filler area aswell. Needs to be sanded back and treated then paint, if you read through a few of the project logs you will find people repairing it.
