well, i had been messed around by the repair company from the start, eventually went up there today to find out its been ready since thursday, but they were making excuses about it not being ready....had a moan and drove it away completed.

just been looking under the arches with the rear wheels off and there has been some serious welding...alot more than i expected....seems they have put a whole new boot floor in right upto the back of the rear seats....oh well at least its sorted and its got a...
i went up there at 9am today....had a moan....and found they were just giving me excuses so it seems. It had been completed and checked, and i drove it away an hour later. jokers!
just wondering if anyone knows the length of the sill on a 3dr clio, as in from the edge of the rear arch to the edge of the front arch?
i tried to find a blueprint but couldnt, so was wondering if anyone has :)

also....for the door one....thers a little grommet on the edge of the door at the same height as the strip....take it off and theres like a little plastic pin there thats holding the strip in and stopping it from sliding....release this then push the strip...should come off
lol jamie....when you said that to me when i was taking mine off for the first time they wouldnt move even a few mm's.....takes quite a bit of pushing if its the first time they are getting taken off sib
just out of interest....would it be safer to unbolt the caliper then paint it, so no paint goes on the disk? or do people do this with everything still bolted in place?
