Ouch !!!!
I'd have written a nice letter to EBC HQ and see what they had to say.
Altohugh they'd probably say that they were inproperly fitted.
Lol
What did yu have done to the pug ?
Apart form Intercooler, guessing it was a diesel unless you threw mega bucks at it.
They are indeed guff...
I put the pics up hoping it'd make people think twice before they buy EBC pads.
Brembo Max and Ferodo's now, so heres hoping there better :)
After changing the ball joints on my 1*2 i decided to change my pads, discs and clean/grease the sliders while i had the wheels off.
I had EBC Green Stuffs fitted previously as i got a good deal on them, they were fitted about 12k miles ago and upon removing them today i found them in this...
f**king hell mate, you love your Aradite don't you ?
Your car must be held together with it :rasp:
Rattling heat shields, remove it or a couple of washers and nuts and bolt back in place if its rusted through ;)
Good luck mate with the Aradite, it'll last till it gets a bit of vibration or yu hit a bump :(
You need to brace it up with a thin metal strip and use the original bolt/nut to hold it in place.
Just do what Chris has done above.
It'll take half an hour max with no Mechy skills at all.
Dried out clutch cable.
Mine used to squek in warm weather and i lubed it up and it lasted a month or so and happened again.
So new cablefrom Renault and that sorted it ;)
Can anyone tell me what the torques are for the brake caliper bolts and and the Lower ball joint bolts ?
I have a couple of ball joints and discs and pads to change very soon.
Thanks
Richard
This is your problem, the Sky + Boxes have twin tuners in them which allows you to watch another sky channel whilst recording another.
To do this you need two input feeds from your satellite dish or you will have to watch what you are recording if you only have one feed.
That explains why when...
Co Pilot is good and for the price you can't complain.
Get a windscreen mount and car charger from ebay and your sorted.
Much cheaper than a Tom Tom as well.
Its the joys of having a CF splitter so close to the ground im afraid, you can try giving it a once over with wet and dry and a couple of coats of lacquer can sometime help to hide stonechips.
No harm in trying it mate.
Great pics summing up a great day no doubt.
What was the mileage on the Trophy out of curiousity ?
And sorry if this sounds silly but is the Vee off of CS ?
After seeing those pics i'm considering returning my car back to standard.
