Outta curiousity, How hard would it be to fit a 197 steering wheel to my 172 ? Is it a straight swap ? Or are the splines etc holding it on different ? And has anyone got any pictures of one on a 72/182 ?

Could it be because the indicator marks on your white dials are slightly out of line compared to the original ones ? Meaning the needle doesn't line completely up with certain lines/dashes on speedometer, rev counter etc etc
