I would imagine you could probably take the hard drive out of the box and transfer the files through a hard drive caddy or something? Not sure if possible without removing the drive as BT probably lock it down.
Spoiler area? Boot wiring seals? Boot release button? Boot seal itself, washer fluid tubes?
Take the car apart, sit inside and have someone pour water over the top and see where its coming from.
* Fit an aftermarket removable steering wheel :)
* Some form of disklok as others have mentioned.
* Hidden camera that faces the driver
* High end alarm/immobilizer/tracker
* Keys always far away from doors/windows
* Hidden battery kill switch
* Disabled/move OBD port
* If key less entry block...
Really? Surely even if you went TG style and had an MDF splitter and some thin sheet steel for underneath it would be less than a wing from a big name manufacturer?
I don't know what the aero is like on the standard MR2 im guessing pretty much non-existent. A proper front splitter would make a difference along with a flat floor and diffuser. Things like that would probably make more of a difference than bolting a wing on.
If you went with the standard 197 setup then obviously going to be cooling issues, if you went with a big aftermarket intercooler and Megane rad then temps wont be an issue. People use the Meg gearbox with the diff which would be my first choice. I don't think there are that many issues...
I would inspect the hoses going to the T pipe and make sure they are not cracked and the clamps/fittings are tight. If you just have to change the T piece it should be straight forward swap and fill with coolant.
Have you got a picture? You could get the parts from Renault Parts Direct who are...
If you like the way the Abarth drives then go for that, it depends what you mean by fun. If it's out and out handling then 197, if you want something that makes a bit of noise, has some torque around town and don't care about absolute handling then maybe the Abarth would be a better choice.
Will get to the comments in a sec.
I have been investigating the vibration issue a bit more on the car, turns out (so far at least) issue was with the discs, which in turn has been caused by sticky/stuck caliper carrier pins. Took both of them off this evening and the bottom ones were pretty...
I would be looking at this.

The easiest way to test is is start the car and wiggle the wires around. If it cuts out or the engine note changes then it's that.
Had a spare mycarcheck. Said it was reported 2 days ago to Warwickshire police. It's at house number 11, not sure on the street somewhere in Stroud....
Maybe @Arnie can shed some more light on this.
This car is a good 8/9k cheaper then what it should be, must of been in an accident or something. Advert doesn't mention anything. Could be a bargain for someone...
