I got some better pictures of the disc. Not worried about the first picture as that's just surface. This second one looks a bit worse.

To me it looks like the shiny silver part of the coating has actually come off, that's why i was worried.

Picked up a brake upgrade the other day and was slightly worried about the discs. They are smooth and are basically new thickness, just a bit of flaking. Will these still be alright to use?

Wow didn't realise it was that easy to change the paddle function!

@dann2707 If that headlight protection lacquer ends up going wrong use ceramic coating next time and it will stay clear for years. There is one round the corner from my work i keep seeing! I need to drive one :(

@Dr Jekyll Didn't you fancy putting on any PPF or ceramic coating after your fresh paint? Seems a bit of a shame your touching in stone chips :(

Yer the diff and the suspension make the nurburgring one. If you got a normal one cheap enough and did the same mods on sure it would be just as good. Not sure if they tweaked other areas. I would be tempted to fit the engine from the H as I believe they are forged? The Astra just wasnt raw...

I drove a Corsa Vxr nurburgring on track back to back with a normal one and the difference was night and day. I wouldn't buy a standard one let's put it that way. I drove the latest Astra vxr if that's the j shape across Europe probably doing 1500miles and it was just a meh experience. Gearbox...

Clio 182 cats are pretty much sports cats iirc if you wanted to go down getting a used one. Couldn't comment on aftermarket one.

Depends how much you want to spend, Logitech G27/29 are good. Also have things from Fanatec, it depends on the type of wheel you want, if it's belt driven, direct drive and how much you want to spend.

Would prefer an SRI turbo as it's more stealthy and pretty similar.

Love this, you can use a heat gun on the plastics rather than back to black, lasts longer and its cheaper. As others have said easy to turn the boost up and running it on veg is a no brainer. I'm sure you know to thin it out a bit more when it gets cold as i think @dann2707 found out IIRC

There is alot of information regarding the super cards. Including the 2080ti super which will feature a new chip rather then just a memory change. Wasnt trying to offend you or anything just didnt know if you were aware of it. Glad your enjoying it.

You can always do the XHP gearbox upgrade aswell which really wakes the gearbox up!

Dont mean to rain on your parade, but I hope you got a good deal as Nvidia are releasing the super RTX cards next week I believe and the 2080 ti is going to be a whole new chip at the same price as a normal 2080 ti and the "standard" one is getting a price reduction...

@Brigsy isnt the issue with the injectors when you have problems starting from cold? Well at least that was the problem with mine. Started fine when hot, but bumped it on cold. Did a leak down test and 3 were toast.

@tmoss93 have you spoken to Pure about the issue? Surely it has warranty?

Sounds like a front spring maybe? I would jack the car up take wheels off and give everything a good check over.

Last I heard they were allowed to be part of the edge network but not the core, problem is Huawei are suppling most of the tech for 5G and no one else is really close on cost/technology so could be a big hit.
