Mine vibrates the dash lol. I don't think the polybushed dogbone helps though either. Just lets everything vibrate through the car more. Better gear changes though when in race mode.

Yeah, higher revs is a plus. When you say idles better, do you mean the needle stops bouncing around on the rev counter or the tone of the engine itself? Because my rev counter needle sits on 1 perfectly but the engine itself sounds like an irregular heartbeat lol

Mine has the rs tuner on. Can definatley still feel the kick at 5k (which I like) Fattys induction setup also changes note at 5k. The cold map is the best thing about it IMO.

When I first got in mine after having a transit connect, I thought it was a proper little pocket rocket. Now I've had it 12 months, it just feels like a normal car. Get it above 5k round some nice b roads though and it comes into its own.

Ah right. I'm not to clued up on the dephaser but @Budgie knows his stuff so he is good for advice to follow. Not sure how you check a dephaser for being the culprit?

How long was the timing supposedly out for until blowing up?

Steering feels fine, just a clunking noise which I can feel under my feet. Is a strange one.

Ash, I have exactly the same issue as this on my ph2. Have been under the car and cannot pinpoint the clunk but can feel it through the floor near the pedals. Doesn't do it every time but I know when its going to do it. Let me know how you get on as its very annoying!

Cup suspension is meant to be fine. Obviously not the same as coilovers, but still perfectly good for track. Those pop up tents are cheap as chips from Argos etc.

If no garages, take a pop up tent in case it pees it down. Running on the standard suspension?(is good enough, just asking)
