You can use MediaMonkey and sharepod to put music on the phone. I think that you have to have a working version of itunes on the PC too in order for the programs to work though, which doesn't really help you much.

How much is the 500D/ D90? They are not full HD but are still pretty good. I have a 5DII and the video quality blows me away. The size of the sensor means that it is head and shoulders above nearly all HD (consumer) camcorders on the market in terms of image quality. That is where it stops...

Gutted, hope that you can salvage most of it and get the thing back up and running without too much hassle. It is a legal requirement to have one in your car over here. I've had to use it once and was damn glad that I had it. I had a small mishap with a firework which would have resulted...

Try and clear all custom functions on the flash too. POTN should hold an answer if allcelse fails.

Take ownership of the file first? With Vista there are some files that you have to take ownership of before you are able to change them. IIRC

As said, it is the size of the sensor that matters more than the MP count. Unless you are doing billboard size photos, then anything more than 10 is overkill really. Although it is useful for cropping afterwards. The glass on SLR's also makes a huge difference over the stuff on a POS. It all...
