Nice how much louder is the induction noise like that?
Someone will be along to say about the power cable. should go through that grommit rather than beside it as your cable is right on the sharp edge of the metal. I got 4 awg through mine you just have to stab it a few times with a screwdriver.
The metal tube your on about sounds like the female part of a bullet connector. Crimp a male bullet connector onto your amp cable then push it inside the headunit cable. Wrap some insulation tape around it while your there too.
Update. In Stuttgart. In starbucks using there wifi. Leaving for the nurburg ring tomorrow. Managed 140 on the way to stuttgart today on the autobahns. Weathers overcast with odd showers. Having a good time though!
Cheers everyone. Good advise.

Staying in a mixture of hotels and campsites. Home, evening of 24th.
Stickered up the car for a laugh but didnt really get as many...
Convoy went well. Thought we would have got split up at one point. Luckily it never happened.
My friend in the saxo got a few pics of me on the way home but none of anyone on the way up!
This happened on mine. I replaced the regulator twice and a new switch. Ended up being a relay from under the glovebox.
You need 2 people. One to keep pressing the switch up and down.
The other to feel under the glovebox. Put your finger on each relay and you will feel one clicking. Pull it...
I convoyed with sax-p last year (i had a saxo). We stopped about 6 times on the way up picking up more and more people, ended up at the hotel where the rest of the sax-p lot were staying. Must have been around 60 saxos in a line on the way to the show which was quite a sight!
