saw you at richard sanders today, where i work. was a blue williams with anthricite wheels, but i know it has a 172 engine as ive seen it here before. reg was L9 PAJ. you most probs saw me having a good look waking through the car park! you were just reversing out of car park.
Car sounds nice!:D
these are good cars! test drove a few now. They are bloody nippy for what they are, you can feel it when the turbo kicks in. The 1.2 turbo has the mpg of a 1.2, the power of a 1.4 and the torque of a 1.6.but they are a bit on the expensive side for the public.
you can see if the water is going to the back on one side of the cr ( cant remeber which). if you lift up the long panel near the door sills, theres a clear tube which is wherethe water travels to the rear. Try uncovering that and have a look see if the waters travelling along it when you turn...
i have a dvd headunit, component speakers and rears running off an amp, and 2 12" subs running off a v12 and i havent needed anything upgrading at all. All i needed was decent wires, and a distrubtion block so i only had to run one live from the front, which then goes to both amps.
ive got the n touch screen one, works perfectly fine, no problems at all! fitted it myself, piece of pish!
will do until i can get a decent touch screen one with sat nav.
the ripspeed touch screen one, isnt as good. the touch part takes a few touches to actually do what you want it to. either...
:( the best i can get in my 1.4 is 31.2mpg, thats drving like a grandad and going neutral down hills and straights! Driving a bit hard and it goes to 18mpg!? I always reset it when i fill up and , me and an RTE from work have checked it over and its all ok though! :S
i had a blue one in mine, looked alright, and was still pretty bright. you could just get blue bulb laquer, which is what i did. i have a 7 colour changing one now, which is awesome! £10 for 2 from halfords
you say the rear speakers werent fitted? did you ask for them seperately when you brought the car, as the new clios dont have rear speakers as standard.
What a shame, such a nice car! at least your ok though mate.
I dont think itll be a write off, my mum had someone go into the side of her clio, and did nearly the same if not, a bit more damage than that, and it was fixable!

Or any of the Shure Ones are good...
id go for the dci mate. I hate my 1.4, not really faster than a dci and it only does 29mpg when driving carefully! If i culd choose again i'd get the dci. I drive a lot, so i spend a lot on fuel.
depends on who attatched em last. If their riveted, then just drill the rivets out (you'll be left with two holes though, as the rivet holes will be too big for your screws when you re-attatch so you'll have to drill 2 more.) If their screwed, then unscrew em, n if their stuck on, pull em hard!
whilst on a road test at work, a 172 cup pulled up beside me on the big roundabout just outside brambleside in kettering. You took off and then i saw your big clio sport sticker in the rear window under the brakelight!
Numberplate was 'FD53...' something!
