my mate has just bought a 1.2 dynamique clio 52 reg for 2k.. thing is the drivers side is FOOKED!! looks like its been shunted and its got loads and laods of dings on the doors.. as if somone has slammed their doors on it in order... anyways the car was fooked... coilpack went and i happily...

yeah ano pal, just sand all the texture off until smooth, then fine sand it until its silky smooth with no obviouse lumps and bumps on the surface and wet and dry to make sure, repeat the wet and dry process after applying primer aswel.

yeah you got to make sure you prep well! make the surface as smoooth as silk before any paint goes on.. spray a light coat then fine sand it down with wet and dry, that fine layer will fill the bumps and then smoothed off

dont make a mistake of rushing it though, i didnt let the paint 'cure' in time before i put my next coats on... thus leaving indentation of every bug/debris the front hits... its essential with each layer of paint not to be too thick and runny before you add the next layer.. its not really hard...

things? theur LED lights.. am sure its not that hard to work out!? lol

its easy.. pull it off, give it a few coats of primer, then few coats of paint, then coats of laquer until your happy with the shinyness but if you want it matte it doesnt matter about loads of coats of laquer.. i colour coded it myself and it was lots of fun!!

i think every car is bigger than their MK1 versions really...

i think the term hot hatch in that case is the power/performance of the mini... the standard mini is a supermini in the likes of fiesta, corsa, clio etc.. hot hatch would be because of their performance (in the same league as coupe's larger cars)

since when did a mondeo become a hatch back ;) a hatch back doesnt have to be a 3 door with a flat rear.

get some autogym super resin polish on it mate, works wonders, i put some on mine when i finished colour coding and it looks like ive gave it another few coats of laquer for that mirror finish
