I asked a similar thing on here a while back and was told it makes next to no difference and not even worth considering, so didnt do much more research to be honest.
Bias valves are available, but as far as I remember the brake lines need running through the interior, with the valve being...
One set up will suit 1 person and not anyone else, so I see your point but at the same time if it suited his driving style then it's spot on.
In a way there isnt a lot of variation, mor adjustability with the AST's if they have top mounts too, but still adjusting the camber, castor and toe-in...
Over the top I'd say ^
Powerstation do a full Geo set up and corner wieghting for 150.
My mate set my car up in under and hour using 4 axle stands, some fishing wire and some calculations. That was in a dark industrial unit on a sunday evening. So with a proper ramp and equipment it should...
Just 2 packs yes.
In the front wheel arches, where the front shocks bolt onto the hub of the car, there are 2 bolts which hold this in place.
The cup suspension pack has a different distance between these 2 bolts compared with a non cup'd 182.
If you do a search on here then you will find...
Dark wheels are for the Cup suspension, however they could be resprayed, only other way is check the bolt spacing on the hub.
Bigger rear spoiler and front splitter are the cup spoiler packs.
First port of call would be pre cat lambda mate, mine was playing up and only managing 27mpg on a run or pottering about.
Changed it and now it's up to 35mpg.
Ballache of a job though, if you arent handy and patient with cars pay someone else to do it.
Bosch Lambda from GSF was 60quid when...
Not read most of the thread, but mine will be fir sale in the next 2 months mate.
its an 05 Silver 182 with both cup packs. 42k miles, FSH Renault and Specialist. Just tax'd for 6 months, MOT is due next month and I'll get it done.
Immaculate inside and out apart from some stone chips to the...
Add another k on and you're getting closer to mine (minus exhaust and AST's ;) )
On topic though, check everything you generally would, but I would look at sills for being bent over when jacked up, check it is a UK car (locking wheel nuts, alarm and got the LED at gearstick and sensor on the...
I use Sainsburys Super, have since the day I picked it up.
I know there will be no difference in performance, but it says super in the book so I use it. The 3/4 quid difference per fill up makes no difference to me, if it helps the car run cleaner then happy days.
Doesnt have to work, I'm not worried how it will look, just fancy going a bit mad with it!
Like i said, already have other wheels which are my daily wheels.
Black is done too much, every chav around here has black wheels on their cars, I want to be different!
Right, I'm bored and got a few hours spare.
I already have some anthracite turinis being repowdercoated, these are my track wheels so not really everyday usage.
Fancy doing them a mad colour just for something to do!
So, orange, red, green, blue, yellow?
Can I have a poll for 90...
I got 260 miles out if my last full tank, which isn't too bad I guess.
Computer reads 30mpg, but had a long journey after filling, then wasted half a tank on the limiter, so not sure how close it is!
Be careful what you do though mate, is it worth getting arrested for?
Just find out who it is and do bits and bobs back to their car.
Forgetting what I said above, the sensible thing to do would be leave them a note, explaining that you know what they have done, and if it happens again you...
Dude, if the one who it is has an exhaust on it, get expanding foam up the exhaust, quickly followed by a potato, then more foam.
then rip the door handles off so they can't get in.
I'm a calm person, but if someone purposely damages my property, especially my car, god help them, I hold a...
