Went to the motorist last night, this Lamborghini Aventador looked epic and massive. Not sure which model it was, SVJ maybe.
Also I was surprised at how big an Emira was
there's a loose manhole cover about 20 yards from our house that makes a right racket when someone drives over it. The noise it's making is activating our ring door bell (I'm assuming its the noise that's being picking up).
Anyone else had similar. I've turned the sensitivity down to try and...
I saw one for the first time today. Was a lot nicer looking than I thought it would. Especially the bonnet detail with those scoops.
Oh and it looked a fair bit wider than I expected
Probably the same people are the reason motorist keeps having to put No rev’s and no loud music in their posts (all the Karen’s have been moaning about that too)
To be honest I’m amazed (but glad) that the motorist still has the regular meets and that their neighbors haven’t had them stopped yet
It’s all kicking off on the motorist FB page about tomorrow’s Porsche club GB event. As far as I understand it the club have hired the venue and they are the ones charging £20 pp (you get a buttie and drink included in that).
What I can’t understand is the Motorist let them hire it on a Sunday...
the jack will probably never leave the garage, and I'll mostly use it for lifting my 911 which lifts all one side up from one jacking point (so a fair bit of weight).
Might just ask for a light and some beer and sort a jack out myself.
Father’s Day is apparently coming up and I need to suggest an inspection lamp and a low entry jack. Ones that aren’t too expensive.
Say £25 for lamp and god knows how much for the jack.
Anyone got any recommendations, thank you please.
not really no. Althought your does look nice.
Had a few 205 Gti's between 2010 and 2013 and would probably have another one of those, but never really been drawn back to 5 ownership.
isn't the door release under the mirror
f**k knows how to start it.....I remember that Top Gear episode where they let people try and no one managed it
anyone swapped a micro switch in a VW key before. The unlock button has stopped working on our key.
Wondering how hard it is and if I’ll end up just ruining the key. Or maybe I should just pay the £1million that VW will want for a new programmed key
This is the key type in question
A lad in his 20’s had one round near us a few years ago.
He managed to crash it on a dry straight 30mph road, by putting it sideways into a tree.
I was amazed how far the tree cut into the car.
