There are expensive becuase they are 2 exhausts in one. A quiet one and a loud one. The F1 bit is just straight through, hence the ropey idle on some cars with it.
Any tbh its a dull as hell day. I just wanted to get some photo's of it that didn't look like i drive it through a field every day (which i may or may not do....)
I know its Manifold back, but it looks like its from a 1.6.
With you having a 97 1.8 you're going to have a right job finding something to fit.
I'd get a custom straight through centre section made to mate up to a back box of your choice.
I'm sure all cat back exhausts are the same length.
The 1.8 cats are longer and the manifold and down pipe are shorter
Vice versa for the 1.6.
1996/97 have the long cat and manifold.
I could be talking out of my arse though!
That will be awful to drive. Normal busa engined ones are bad enough.
Turbo bikes are w**k too.
So god knows why he combined to two.
It won't spin the rears though, bikes cope fine with half the weight and half the contact patch.
The ones Ken Block uses survive well.
Mine survived getting smashed into a bus.
Most photo's of broken rotas come from cars hitting a kerb. t**t any wheel into a kerb hard enough and it'll break.
Yes, someone needs to buy him a personality or something.
Its like he can't decide whether he's a serious reporter or Jeremy Clarkson.
Anyone who say's 'bottom crack' needs culling.
