There's more than enough to threads on here to know the plate is illegal. All the threads come to the same conclusion, if you fit one you run the risk of being pulled. 'Forgetting' about your fogs made you stand out hence being pulled.

Just realised a neighbour has one in white. I saw it and thought that looks ok, then I saw the little badge on the back. This is the first one I've noticed on the road, it just looks like a high spec Clio but doesn't stand out enough as a sports version to me.

Love them, sadly (or not) you can actually see it loosing value in the photo - pound notes falling off it. They don't like to hold their money much while fairly new.
