I'm waiting for a proper quote from Birchdown, but how much would you guess the following will be on a 182? 48k service New rear discs and pads Brembo max front discs, braided hoses and DS2500 pads. All fitted. Just rough to the nearest £100 would be spot on please.

It's either THAT 172, or a 182. I'm not really interested in any other 172's now as I have enough for a decent 182.

I've not asked, but I wouldnt drive it even if he let me, not worth the risk for him or me, he would get done for it as well as me without insurance. Not sure what to do, might go to Renault and test drive a 182 just to make sure, and then just get taken out in the one i want. Gay!

No I can't through Flux, most companies only let over 25's do that now.

I need to test drive a car, but I'm not 21 so cannot use day insure. I'm insured with Flux but they won't give me a temporary policy or anything like that. Anyone got any ideas?

^ Worth a try I suppose. Say £2.5k is closer to the money? Obviously this is all on assuming it is a fully serviced car in good mechanical order etc that is HPI clear.

I had my dynamique for 2 years, and it failed to start once in all that time! Unsure what the fault was, left it for an hour and then it started again like normal! (Lupo failed me when I went to pick it up, immobilizer in the key went!)

Thats at Birchdown. I think the genuine parts bump the price up, but taking that into account along with the insurance hike leaves me with the £1100 in the bank, so its all cool.

Done 65k I think. Fairly high, but I don't do a whole lot of miles myself so doesn't worry me too much in all honesty. 72k service including cambelt, aux belt, plugs and oil flush using genuine Renault parts = £700!!!
