That thought did cross my mind as I felt the silver clashed with the front blade colour, I just don't know what colour it is. Yes an assortment of lairy colours such as red, blue, white have crossed my mind for trackdays but I'm thinking of keeping them on for a while so a more respectable...
They looked better in the auction photos, I took a punt and punched in a bid of £155... And won. When I picked them up however, rattle can effort and a poor attempt at that. But I've done a few sets of wheels over the years so I'm happy to do another set.
The silver is a change and yeah I...
Team Dynamics wheels come with a 73.1mm centrebore so I've ordered a set of spigot rings to fit 66.1mm. I've also seen a set of Nankang semi slicks 225-45-17 for 250 which should work a treat.
Been toying with changing the wheels on the Clio for a while, just for a change or use them as a second set for trackdays. It's been a right royal pain in the arse trying to find a second hand set in 18s as the OE wheels have a ridiculously high offset of 55 with a 7.5J width. Aftermarket 18"...
Awesome, like I said it's worth it if you're going to add to the Clio to make gains. There's no point in wasting money on products along the way when there a proven ones out there that work and will benefit the Clio:up:
The gearbox software update was done by Renault, I was made aware they had the newer version so I enquired with the Renault service dept. I had to pay as it wasn't a recall but there's another who had his done for free. It's definitely worth having it done, you'll notice the difference...
Cool, same year as mine and open to being mapped which mine is. It really depends what you want from the car to how far you'll go with it.
Mods to mine and IMO bar wheels and maybe more power this is where it will be.

I get 40mpg with cruise control on the motorway at 72-75mph. Town driving low 30s. It's a second car, used for trackdays, car meets, weekends away or a mid week B road blast so I stick £20 worth of V Power a time in it which gives me 100 miles at best, but I'm not too fussed as it's hardly used...
Just out of interest do you fill up with a particular brand of fuel or just go for the higher octane (98-99Ron)
Sounds well on the launch control vid
I have the OE Dunlop Sport Maxx RT tyres on my 200T and to be fair on a recent trackday in France was pleasantly surprised how well they performed in the damp to wet conditions. I think the chassis helped too but the tyres felt grippy when putting the power going through the long corners and...
I did yes, they spoke to the technicians and others and said that if it's not ticked on the options from new then it doesn't have the loom and software. The costs involved to then retrofit becomes too much.
Maybe he spent the first night sleeping in it, must be amazing to have that new car feeling. The buzz of ordering, waiting, then finally picking it up.
