Ph1 21mm land on wishbone mounts, Ph2 16mm, cup 11mm.
Cup shafts are the same length as the normal ph2 shafts but are one piece instead of equal length. Ph1 are 20mm shorter and one piece.
Tie rods are different too, cup ones are 15mm longer, all the others are the same.
Cup wishbones have...
I noticed it packing it but as you say they are both identical. I didn't look at it in the car so I assumed they were profiled. It looks like they're intended to be that way.
:cool:Cool! Glad you've got them now. I left the end of the linkage connected to the box so if you don't touch anything and just connect the rod with the nut and bolt it should be pretty much spot on.
The only PITA is adjusting the heatshield under the car. I found it use to knock the...
Lovely car! I really wish I lived closer to work so I didn't need a nice commuter car as well a second fun car. Then I'd have one of these in a heartbeat.
Glad you're happy with it. It's quieter in the car because it's not a stealth exhaust. The stealth ones just reverberate behind the bumper and the sound comes into the cabin.
In that case non-intercooled setups would stop turning the boost up on the day. So that's that dispute sorted.
And Russ, your figures are very similar to James's but you have less weight to worry about. So not only does it benefit you in terms of handling you also have more bhp and torque per...

Rather than just say it's FI so it can't be class A surely it's fairer to look at the power output and see it's the same as other class A cars.
So in that respect would it be better class the cars by...
Super B have been doing them for a while but now Varley have some which are a bit cheaper.
I'm looking at the 16.1Ah version that has 670 cranking amps which is more than enough for starting but will it be sufficient for general use? The alternator deals with general running doesn't it so the...
The "interesting road" is called Marine Drive which goes around the Great Orme. It has been used as a special stage for the WRC. Its a good testing ground as its one way ;)
Great to meet you yesterday. Yes I agree it is a shame, but needs must and it won't be like I'll be without at car once I...
If you fit them at the height they're set at everything should be pretty balanced :) just get the tracking sorted when it's all together and have some fun!
Last weekend I got the engine in after heat wrapping the manifold, got all the suspension and brakes back on, started trial fitting the cage and interior etc. and now I might break the whole thing back down!
Tried a potential new car out yesterday and quite liked it. Very different from the...
I wouldn't bother with the R26 head, I'd keep the 172 head and cams then get a Gen90 ecu with a clio turbo base map. No need to mess around with wiring and the dephaser then, its all standard.
