right people, i'm thiking one of the above colours, but that will be a secret until its done, but...
in the pics theres a polished lip on them, thinking about possibly doing the same but maybe black to match the car or something, any ideas???
its down to erm, yellow blue or orange!!!
cheers for the pics JLO, ive actually got the pic of the red ones saved somewhere on my laptop cos i loved it so much!!!
how would i get the polished lip though, as im having to filler it up to get rid of the curbage...
i want them to really stand out though brad, i had the kind of stealth look with that set, but iw ant something really different now.
i can see your point, but not obvious enough!
yeah, i love the green but i think the block colour might be too much, as the turbines are quite solid instead of open...
feel free to photoshop away!!
right, got a black mk2 ph3, gonna be lowered 60mm properly soon, and got another set of turbines...
anyway, taking all that into account i want to spray them a nice bright colour which will stand out, i know most of you will be thinking why etc, but i want it different and cool, so anyhelp...
yeah i thought that, ill put some prgress pics up tomorrow for what i've done so far, seems frairly straight forward, might advertise if these go well!
ah right, im hoping it will be fine, if not then ill start again, on the other 3 ill use a rougher grit like you said!
cheers for all the info, much appreciated mate.
basically the wheels have been kerbed a bit on some chunks out, so filled them up, i sanded them down with 1200 forst, then put the filler on, smoothed it out a bit with 400, then 1200 and now 1500 just to get a nice finish,
some small patches need a bit more filler so i'll do that, then go...
cheers alex,
yeah i will be priming them up etc when i spray them, just had a few scuff marks from the previous owner and stuff so i though i may aswell do it properly and smooth them all over.
cheers for the help, just making sure it doesnt need to cure for a certain period.
hopefully i wont need any help, only done 1 wheel so far but seemed to go fairly easily, just used too much hardner and did it in the sun so hardened very fast!
live and learn!
