Try the hankook rs2. Much cheaper. Not ultimately as grippy, but better than a road tyre.

Indeed. The comparisons with the FRS were a bit silly, because you can use the FRS all day every day as you're only car. Not so the R26R. It's got less storage than an Elise in reality.

I like the R26.R, but can't help thinking that an R26 on coilovers (KW V3), with a remap would be the quicker car, with the added benefit of being able to leave the rear seats in as reqd. The R would be more special though.

The steburns car isn't standard though. Put it this way, at Oulton it had the legs on every 197/200 present.

Why? Essentially the same engine, brakes, interior. And you'd have the same suspension setup. Would just be an uglier version of yours! I could see the point if yours was standard, but can't see the need given how well your goes.

Looks great. You've had it easy with the wiring. I've got the alpine harness, parrot Bluetooth harness, steering control leads and sub wiring. Took f**king ages lol.

Guessing he's saying you should of done a ktec. Without badmouthing the product 1st of course;).

Had a viper on mine, did notice an immediate improvment once it was off.

2nd hand. Like I said, I think their package is good value. And unlike most other kit, it's been tested and we can see the results of those tests. Took a while for me to find all the seperate bits as well, had their kit been available I would of gone for that instead. Amazing that people will...
