Yeah I'd definitely keep them as memories mate. The last time I went was 2014 or possibly 2013 and between then and now it's changed dramatically.

It'll be mine that's available mate, so quite possibly the best jc5 box that will become available as literally EVERYTHING internally is brand new. The diff will more than likely be new too.
@shu90 the oil jets can be removed by welding a piece of threaded bar on the top of them and using a slide hammer. Simple. Just note the position of them on/in the block before you remove them.
For refitting you can't knock them in too far otherwise the skirt of the piston will hit them and...
Yeah I fully agree mate, mechanical failures do happen. What I can't get my head around and accept is this: why the f**k did it decide to pop the shaft out this time around? It's on stiffer suspension and I took the corner no differently to any other lap I've done. Just doesn't make sense to me...
Gents it's massively pissed me off tbh and it's caused me more grief than I can be bothered with, so this is why it's now a consideration. It was built to do one thing - set a fast laptime at the ring. And it failed. Miserably because it shat itself.
