Park on pavement with grass verge. One wheel on tarmac, one wheel on (preferably damp) grass. Pull away - that'll tell you without doubt. You say it will spin the inside wheel if provoked? If so, you don't have an LSD.

How does that work then? I've got a 3-point harness, adjustable sholder straps as normal, but with no adjustment, at all, on the lap belts. Do I have to get adjustable lap belt mounting points? Do they even exist? Have I bought a dud?

Brembo HC are good enough. My Blues lasted me almost 30k miles, and I think I was on the same set of discs all the way through. Slightly less friction from cold, but nowhere near as bad as some. Lines can be done regardless of pad/disc/fluid, and should give you an immediate improvement in...

How can you tell that when you go to look at a car? How do you know they're not just making it up?

I think you'd be devaluing the car far in excess of what you potentially stand to save.

You'd think that, but... I started off with a Panasonic plasma 1080i which thanks to some dead lines of pixels I exchanged for a Toshiba 1080p LCD. Ignoring the richer blacks of the plasma, on image quality and detail alone, there was very little to seperate the two in my eyes.
