Only mods are decat, ITG panel filter, K-tec stealth, and an R-sport ECU.
Consitently gives 178 at the flywheel.
I don't plan on anything else to the engine, nor anything at all to the suspension...for now.
Upgraded brakes and a sticky set of tyres along with this weight loss are enough...
Got it all happening on Friday, Mike at Rentech is fitting;
Cobra Imola 2 bucket seat
Steel (boooooo) sidemounts
3-point harness
New front discs (thicker)
OMP 300mm wheel
Lightweight alloy 60mm steering wheel spacer
Which means he's removing;
Standard steering wheel + airbag

From the original post it sounds like she was stationary when he hit her bumper.
If that's the case, if she had rolled back or not is irrelevant. She was stationary, and he collided with her.
There can only be one party at fault there.
I've been running PF97 pads over the winter, and the car's not had a proper wash for weeks.
Stuck it through a carwash today, and the sides of the car remain covered in brake dust.
Fred - you've got some miracle cure for this?
Park on pavement with grass verge.
One wheel on tarmac, one wheel on (preferably damp) grass.
Pull away - that'll tell you without doubt.

I've never had any pops or bangs though :(
Ahh, PE2s, makes sense, I found them to be stunning in the wet.
Pedals are fine for me at 6'1" - but I don't heel/toe as such, more left side of foot/right side of foot.
Have you got braided lines?
Brembo HC are good enough. My Blues lasted me almost 30k miles, and I think I was on the same set of discs all the way through. Slightly less friction from cold, but nowhere near as bad as some.
Lines can be done regardless of pad/disc/fluid, and should give you an immediate improvement in...
You'd think that, but...
I started off with a Panasonic plasma 1080i which thanks to some dead lines of pixels I exchanged for a Toshiba 1080p LCD.
Ignoring the richer blacks of the plasma, on image quality and detail alone, there was very little to seperate the two in my eyes.
It's like night and day to me Scutch.
Especially sport/football - when I'm at Fratton Park and the camera pans past where I sit, I can see a blob that's me, but I only know it's me because that's where I sit. If I switch to the HD channel, I can recognise and pick myself out of the crowd...
