I've found that so long as the rims aren't on the car, and you aren't asking them to fit anything at all to the car, they'll fit any tyre regardless of condition. I'm always getting tyres swapped and turned on rims...some of them are shocking, but they've always obliged. So long as you ask...

I went from a Panasonic Plasma 1080i to a Toshiba LCD 1080p (both 42). Viewing angles? Nothing between them at all. Blacks? Panasonic wins. Given the choice again, the Panasonic would do it for me.

Being able to route the CAF behind the NS upper front grill to take enormous gulps of freezing cold air rammed in at speed. Need no aircon/fuel rail protector to make it fit though. I'm looking into this myself.

Could well be. When I drove a normal 182 I found it needed a real determined prod to get the revs blipped up enough...throttle response wasn't as sharp as it is in my Cup. Maybe that's why you're struggling?
