I currently have 16 in my shed (the wife's seriously pi**ed since the last six arrived  - I need a bigger shed)... I buy them off members on here whenever they come up cheap :approve:
A lap of Bedford's West circuit - 1:27
Not directly comparable with the 1:33 Evo managed as the video skips a bit and there was no pif-paf either but I'm happy with it all the same.
The instructor I had with me was one of the better ones that I've come across though :approve:
West Circuit...
You could try HIC (Herts Insurance Company).
They were really good for me with my mods and I talked about what I planned to do (proper detail strip, seat, wheel, harness) and they noted it on the policy, that was it, no extra charge.
Very trackday and mod friendly.
He bought it already modded IIRC so he's spent next to nothing on mods. Up close and personal this thing is very serious/rapid. When it spools up it just squats down and f***s off.
So that's why I always have a tendancy to lock the front left first when threshold braking? 80kgs less pushing down?
How's it balanced Fred? Ballast or suspension adjustments?
How long have you had it Oms?
If it's less than six months, a change in the last few years to the Sales of Goods Act gives you more clout.
Basically if you buy a product, and it develops a fault within the first six months, that fault is deemed to have existed at the time of sale, unless the...
eh?
My experience has always been PMs responded to promptly answering any random question I might throw at him about tuning/racing etc.
Development of a product takes time, effort, and money. We work on a 1 year concept-to-market cycle in my company, and that's designing the latest...
I've been thinking about what I want to do next training wise, and going for training/membership of the HPC appeals.

Incredible!
I've got a new set of discs sat next to me ready for Rentech Mike to fit tomorrow. I just realised that this is only the 3rd set my car has ever worn.
Standard lasted about 35k IIRC, then on went some Brembo HCs.
I'm on 82k now, and they still have both wear indicators showing...
In insurance, silence amounts to misrepresentation.
You have an obligation to disclose any material facts that would affect their decision to provide cover at a certain price. By not telling them you have in fact "lied" about yourself/your car.
Lets say you have six points on your license...
XKRs are still big and heavy. Myself and Nik on track at Goodwood hassled two XKRs out of the way that were there having a play with each other. They'd bugger off on every straight, but were on the brakes for each corner way too early.
Sound lovely under full load though :)
... torque steer?
I've been known to double back and try a stretch a second time just to feel the little b***ard writhe in my hands. Love it :D
I'm curious...odd or not?
Nah, I was at the back of the group with six loose tyres thumping into the back of my seat every time I braked.
Can't do these at pace anymore now I'm a wheel shuffler. Always thinking "what if" - bit of a wuss really.
The ten runners...
2 hours later, a spot of fresh (gale force) air...
Typical, it got its first wash in 9,000 miles yesterday too...
Post breakfast...
Good to see everyone again, shame about the closed roads, that it was damp and that there were too many other cars...
