It's the actual act of driving that I love; I'm (we're?) always learning.
The car helps me enjoy the learning more, but I'm not obsessed by it.
Nor do I care what anyone thinks; so long as it goes and stops how I want it to when I want it to, that's all I need.
So what if there's a swirl...
I love mine, don't get me wrong and it will NEVER be sold, but if I put it into the armco in a big way , I'll go buy another...I mean, mine's probably worth £4K or less as is.
Makes you realise why they have those "Motorsport is Dangerous" signs posted every 10m around the perimter - to ensure no-one sues them following such an incident.
Can't believe that Porsche vaulted clean over the safety fence that was behind the barrier!
Wheels should be purple.
Nothing else, just the wheels. Do side strips et al and it'll look like you're trying too hard.
Purple wheels against the black, job done.
I'm on your side edde.
My only desire is to learn, and the Clio is a car in which i can continue to do that without spending a fortune.
It needs respect, or it'll bite, so it's teaching me a huge amount about balance, smoothness, lines etc...but do I really genuinely care about it?
Do I...
I would buy one (or something like it) if it was within my means.
But I wouldn't got to Halfords and buy a set of Lexus lights for it.
Giving a 360 Lambo doors is almost exactly the same in my opinion - the fact that he paid £17k for the work makes it even worse.
He should have got a...
I've got to try a Ph-Q to see what all this is about.
My Cup responds instantly, at the slightest (and I mean slightest) movement of my foot.
Anyone taking a Ph-Q to Brands I can have a go in?
Right, I'll try the old soapy water then...hope that works as it feels quite waxy.
Don't normally clean the wheels, but these will also be getting a fresh coat of vile coloured smoothrite before Brands :approve:
Yep. Perform from stone-cold with no issues at all.
Really surprised me when I first got them, I thought for something used in touring cars they'd need a little heat first...but no, windscreen headbutting right from the beginning.
First thread from me ever in here LOL
Getting ready for Brands next week and I just remembered that the tyres I'll be running I leant to a member on here for a week not long ago.
In that time they saw fit to "dress" them meaning they've now got a lovely slippery outside inch of the tread and...
I've come to love my Pagid Blues. At £120-£140 a pop they're not cheap...but around Bedford with 3 100mph+ stops in just over 2 minutes lap after lap they perform without fault.
They last forever too - mine have covered about 30,000 miles now and there's still a good 5-6mm left. Not hard on...
I thought the whole purpose of the Scandinavian flick was to exaggerate weight transfer/load onto the outside wheels so as to maximise grip through a corner?
Isn't all this drifty slidey stuff just a by-product of that?
I know where you're coming from.
I've got a 360, and Rainbow Six, absolutely love that game. Had it since it was released months ago, and I'm still on the first level.
I try to hook up with my mate as often as I can on Live, and I've managed that once since February.
Most of my time these...
It was his first time out and as said, his car was sick.
Got to stay calm on track...if you let the red mist descend, you see gaps that don't exist, and believe you're Senna/Schumacher/Hamilton etc. on the brakes...not good.
I just bide my time and wait for them to realise. Failing that, a...
