Most of my driving is to and from work, and 75% of that is on a gloriously clear dual carriageway...so Im probably at 75-85mph for most of the time.
In the manual it says that for motorway driving you should set your pressures to 39psi (F) + 33psi (R)...so I did...and I think Im going to leave...
Hmmm...might give this a try when I throw in the R-Sport ECU and ITG panel filter.

Can anyone say with authority that if getting my 53 Cup serviced at a non-franchised dealer, assuming that the work is of a satisfactory standard and...

The guy that fitted it pointed out that it had in fact been hit by something...right near the edge of the screen...and it would have cracked to the edge first...before working its way inwards.

How can the windscreen crack without an impact if its not down to a manufacturing issue? Proving it and getting Renault to agree will be the tricky bit...:(
...having a Cup with no problems that is!
Yesterday...parked up...went into Halfords to take some mats back...come back out and Ive got a 6 inch crack running from the drivers side lower corner diagonally up into my line-of-sight. I know it wasnt there before I went in as (very sad) in the...

On the Evo long termer they had an alarm problem...kept going off all the time. It was traced to water in the alarm in the end I think.
Can anyone describe where the alarm is on a Cup/172...just like to check mine to see if its getting soaked?

Well, Im on 1,300 so far...on the way back tonight it did the same in 3rd and 4th...so Im inclined to thing its a newness/oil problem as its not just affecting the one ratio.
Ive certainly got nothing in the way of whining or crunching at all...in fact, the gearbox is not half as bad as Id...
