...I had an autoleads adaptor for my 1999 Clio... To fit it you had to: pull the seals away from the doors by the a frames remove the a frames remove the 2 screws in the dash by the doors, remove the 3 screws in the top of the dash by the window, remove the 2 screws holding on the cover...

From what I can gather (Theres been a bit of talk on here recently about this subject) all UK ones being manufactured now will have cruise fitted.... So if you order from a dealer and the car is ordered from the factory it should have cruise fitted.... Adrian

Im guessing that your car is an import from europe somewhere then, rather than a car direct from the factory....if so its more than possible that its stuck in customs somewhere.... Adrian

I ordered mine at the beginning of august and was given a delivery date of mid october....Not sure why you would get a delivery date 6 weeks earlier than anybody else placing a new order?. Adrian

...my order would have gone to renault on the 4th of August.... I know exactly how you feel lagerlout1! The wait it killing me, especially if it may actually be longer! Although is it possible that new car discount arent actually giving customers dates from Renault? I know my order went off...

..oh no.. what date were you supposed to get it? Renault told my dealer that mine would be delivered on the 14th of October...but if yours is delayed then id imagine that mine (a 172, not a cup)is too... I take it that from your "172/Cup" message that its both 172 and Cups not just "172...

...i had the aerial leak twice and on both occasions it terminated the plip sensor... Second time round they actually fixed the fault. Adrian

My current 1.2 (1999, 16V) is every 12,000 miles, with major services at 36,000 and 72,000. From memory it roughly costs me about £80 for a minor service (At my local renault dealer) but the 32,000 service I think cost a couple of hundred quid. I asked on here before about the service...

..because they use gyroscopes and your speed, they know both your speed and direction, so when you go into the tunnel its able to keep tracking until you come out of the tunnel and reaquire the satellites... Adrian

I already own a renault! (1.2 clio grande!) Its not like they added anything (its if you do a version compare thing which gives you the spec)...I was just suprised that the list was about half the size it was the other day! If my car is missing any of that stuff Im going to go ballistic! Adrian

I placed my order for a 172 a couple of weeks ago (got a delivery date in october), Ive just looked at the spec on the renault website and it seems to have quite a lot missing (from when I looked about 3-4 days ago): Exterior Temperature Indicator Drilled Aluminium Pedals Optimum Gear...

..im sure glad I had locks on my car when the sensor on the roof got water in it, twice, first time the dealer said the plippers dead, theres water in the sensor and duly replaced it without fixing the leak around the aerial, 2 weeks later and a rain storm and it died again....they fixed it...

has anybody recently bought a 172 and can confirm that these extra options are now actually fitted? If so then renaults 172 site is even more out of date, on the front page for the 172 it says thats its available in 2 special pearlescent colors (green and yellow I think), but when I ordered...

Its all the hassle that goes along with using the rio though, you have to remove it from the car every time you leave it (its not exactly small and light), you then have to make sure that you dont leave it anywhere or drop it.... Plus the area around where the stero fits is quite "scuffed"...
