You can "extend" the length of the track rod arms mate FYI. A bit of fabrication needed, but easily doable.

Without knowing what the draw of the ignition circuit is, it's hard to say 100% mate, but I doubt it tbh. Worst case scenario is that you need to upgrade to the bigger alternator because it kills the 75amp...
Re: 172 Cup track toy!
A mate of mine did the same with his r27 Clio! The salesmans face must have been a picture as he bounced off the limiter on the way out the dealership!! Lol

A mate of mine has this set up on his turboed nova and he used the box of tricks off eBay for controlling the amount of assistance you get. It's not a bad little mod at all either, but I can't say he's ever...

Lol!!
On a side note, I've watched your 'ring lap now. With some kerb action (in the right places) and some adjusted lines, you'll go very fast round there mate.

You'll have to get your neighbour to give you a push with the car! Pmsl!
Re: 172 Cup track toy!
My first engine was run in on the engine dyno, but every other one I've built after that has been driven like I stole it! Lol! I've never had one fail, or make poor power for that matter so that goes nicely with what swede cup is saying! Lol!
I run mineral oil as well...
It all depends on what you use the car for really. If you go to stiff at the rear and the car gets used on the road it will swap ends quicker than the blink of an eye and you'd need to wear a gum shield when you drive it! Lol!
It's worth keeping in mind the lever ratio of the rear axle as...
Through trial and error mate really. There's a calculation I used that I found somewhere (can't remember where from - I'll have a dig about) but it was a very involved bit of working out iirc.
I've had the rear dampers revalved to match as well which helps. They are static rate as well.

Yes mate, the ring. I've done in excess of 350+ laps now and go as often as possible. I've seen all the crashes and unfortunately witnessed a death as well. I totally agree with your opinion about the place...

Lol! Yes, possibly a waste of time! Still excellent times around there though considering it was your first time as well.
Not sure if I'll drive over on 888's next year or load them up in the boot and...
No problem at all mate! I got them made by a company in sheffield called Coilsprings. I've used them loads of time for springs, and they're excellent!!!

How come the camera is on the piss for the videos??? I forgot to ask you the other day! Lol
Here are the kw v2 spring specs I have.
Approx 30mm lowering from standard height.
0-25mm travel: 215lbs
25-50 - 435lbs
50-75 - 667lbs
75-100 - 1059lbs.
To get some lower and stiffer springs you'll need to get custom made stuff mate. This was what I did with mine.
Standard bonnets weigh in at around 10-12 kgs. If you remove the strengthening ribs like I've done you can get a standard one to weigh in at 5.2 kgs. The weight of the fibreglass boot lid you have is impressive as well!
If you remember would you be able to weigh the cup spoiler? From memory i...
