Go as high up the food chain as you can, thats ridiculous!! Don't do it over the phone without backing it up with written correspondence. Thats why I always do a walk around with a member of staff before handing the keys over.
You c**t! Dwarfism is no laughing matter. Just yesterday I nearly got locked in the fridge. Just because you look like Peter Crouch driving yours!! Do some f**king work!!
Each to their own chap. At the end of the day, it's your car, your choice. I just don't understand why a lot of 197 owner's seem to have a chip on their shoulders about it's faults. Shock horror, it's not perfect!!!! My car has plenty of faults, but the good points outweigh it for me. Nearly all...
Had iceburg 172, got rid of that because I fell in love with a RB182. Sold that to free up cash for business, been running around in a 306 rallye since then.
Picked it up, really happy. Mint condition, interior's spotless. Feels much younger than it is, but I don't think the prev owner drove it very hard, 37.5 mpg! Just need to get some decent rubber on and book a track day.
True, but in my experience, it's only people with knowledge that appreciate those things. Had nothing but timewasters with my 182, until someone off here bought it.
Agree on all but the 997 comparison, the difference between Turbo, GT3, GT2 are quite significant, difference between a 197 with cup suspension, R27, and a cup? Mechanically nil, just interior.
