Harewood is an excellent venue but very very competitiv.

I can’t remember lol I was going to sell and go rallying with an MX5 but the Mini decided to have engine issues before it went for sale. Having now spent a small fortune and more I’ll have to keep it for this year. It’s not the best for its class but has been surprisingly good on a few events...

You can argue all day about top mounts although it’s been quiet for a while but the integral part means ‘of the original car’ not the coilovers , but hopefully no one will bother you about it.

Not sure on top mounts acceptable everywhere so need to check regs but to be fair if your not winning no one bothers lol I would fit gripper diff and coilovers and not bother with fibre glass or shifter and put that towards the difference in price gripper vs quaiffe. @NorthloopCup is your man...

Yes I agree as I did Epynt a good few years ago. This was after loads of sprints and single venue stuff. It was hard work though as had to service and do everything as my dad who co drove was no good with spanner’s.

The closed road rallies look far far better then the circuit based stuff, do they cost a lot more to do ?

Single venue as have 3 sisters not far away or a step up to Oulton park when funds allow. I’ll have to get out on a targa rally but my Mini is not allowed as it’s forced induction. Still looking for an MX5 locally but all have serious rust issues on front chassis legs and cills.

@Twingo 1?? yes I’ve seen loads of track,race ready cars most of which have back seats and carpets out to make them race ready the better ? one with joe blogs cages that are either home made or out of date and unusable.
