The exhaust doesn't because of the spare wheel well, the bumper will though. K-tec offer a 182 lookalike exhaust for the 172, but that doesn't fit in the 182 bumper.

1.2 > 1.6 isn't worth it - the increase on insurance will probably be about the same as converting to a 2.0 engine, and it'll cost a similar amount to do the conversion too.

There is no drivers door lock barrel, the cars were originally made for/in France (left hand drive) and they couldn't be arsed swapping it over. @Above - using your key in the drivers door won't have much of a positive effect.

Sell up and buy a real 182. Tbh.
