Yeah, Gen 2 works with Hue too. Didnt know the older ones were brighter. Also the Gen 2 Iris's look really cool. If you do get a hue bridge then it can be a pain to link the lights to it. ping me if you need help.

Does anyone know if its easy enough to unclip the diamonds, dont want to break the catches on the back.

There are 2 different sized diamonds for the centre caps , be careful you get the right ones. Could do with some myself if they are sold on their own.

They are way over priced for what they are but they are the only decent oem seat. You got the other new set - how are you finding them.

They are comfy seats and are great for day to day driving. I think they look great, much better than the standard seats. I didnt think twice about spending serious money on them infact I took a massive risk buying some brand spanking new from some dude abroad for just under a grand.
