So, who's looking forward to the 2013 Mk4 Renaulsport Clio Williams 230 1.6t Cup?

If Renault extract thumbs from asses and do a new V6..... with turbo. then that might be acceptable.

    LOL at this.

Insurance prices could be stemmed if it wasn't far a lack of tools in the early 90's Which, conversely, has led to an excess of complete tools

    Splitter scraping

would anyone really notice, or care, if there was an extra 10mm there? Aside from the 'Stance' massive, of course. It all depends how much you value your splitter I guess. (Like those wheels, if only I didn't already have a list of work that mine needs doing!)

Clio 200 in next series of Top Gear

I put a video up a while ago where a 200 convincingly had a Team Lotus F1, that was on the straights, let alone da twistiez

    '215bhp from a remap and exhaust'..lol

Ah, that'll explain it, I thought I had wheel alignment issues. I suppose I could add mo stripez, equally spaced to the right side of the car, that should have me pushing 3560hp through the steering wheel

    LOL at this.

Anyone who thinks this is anything other than tools being power-tools is pushing the boudaries of 'tard. +1 for the Hemi V8 cruisers and pump-action shotguns. Toolage like this should result in castration, stop the gene pool getting any worse. EDIT: And what's the point of burning fuel to...

    Admiral WTF??

They've always been, by far, the cheapest quote, and thats by confused.com and the rest. Closely followed by Bell. noone else comes close.

FAO: JMS & Other specialists - Crunchy nut steering

I appreciate that, I'm not asking for a quote :) But, if you diagnosed a dieing PAS pump, what would you sting me for to fix it up? ballpark figures. I'll be booking into JMS for a new driveshaft anyway, but wouldn't mind being ready for the cost of a PAS fail. Thanks for your help...

FAO: JMS & Other specialists - Crunchy nut steering

Really? The steering itself is as normal, just this noise. Is the PAS pump a big job?

Oh, by the way, would this be an MOT fail?

Clio 200 in next series of Top Gear

All true. I'd still take a well-specced 200 over the others regardless. Although a Newer-shaped Teg would be prefered! :)

Received letter off police for my 3/4 front plate

What about all the nobbers with "personal" plates that they adjust to make spell out stuff? Isn't that asking for a ticket too? Not just for wasting money either.

Clio 200 in next series of Top Gear

Well, yes. A Mugen Civic would have schooled all 3 of those, but at, what £40k, wouldn't that be a little unfair? Like Putting a Frod Probe up against an RS5, their both coupe's you know :)
  19. G

Clio 200 in next series of Top Gear

Ah, yes, sorry. I thought FRP was '99. Anyway, would that make the 'teg the overpriced competition? My point was putting £16k of CLio against £20k competitors is a bit silly. All their criticism about the interior would have been null if they'd got a packed 200. Not that it would have helped...

Clio 200 in next series of Top Gear

I get your point, but the 3 choices just seemed at odds, even just on price alone, it wasn't that fair. But if you did the same kind of "test" on 90's small coupe's you'd have MX-3 / Mitsi FTO Toyota Sera / Nissan 100 SX Racing Puma And why the FIAT anyway? I'd have thought a more3...

Thanks gents, going by Atouba's reply, it sounds like a new shaft is in order, but if it's still there, yes, time to get the big cheques out! Since I have zero mechanical knowledge (or tools) then I'll be booking it in for some TLC

FAO: JMS & Other specialists - Crunchy nut steering

Morning all (but particularly those with some emchanicaly nous!) Right, a few months back, James & Tom of JMS fame informed me that I'll be in line for a new driveshaft sooner or later after a crap repair to my cv with a weedy cable tie dumped all the grease. The parking knocking at low...

Clio 200 in next series of Top Gear

Well, top gear did it again. Put a fashion accessory, next to a special-eidtion , next to a RS200. That's a nice level playing field right there. If they'd managed to blag F1 drivers to lap Monaco. that would have been much better than seeing May tip-toe around the Cote d'Azur track in the...
