Aftermarket hu will sound better than stock but I'd buy a decent alpine one if you're after sound quality. Standard Renault hu's are awful. Get an adaptor from mt audio on here to retain your stalks :approve:

Renault's Black Gold, when properly clean and in the sun looks rather bronze. What about a light/sky blue ? Would be a great start point if you went to Le Mans and did the Gulf theme properly :o Might be a bit played out but... meh.. it looks good. Red Bull theme ?! That makes anything...

Thinking about it - you say passive ? Passive means it gets the power from an external source... that's the amp's job. The power goes through the speaker wire moving the cone. Hopefully someone with half a clue will confirm this. [I hope I've redeemed myself here :o]

I don't think the ph1 suits eyebrows at all :S Someone (BREMBO?) had a black ph2 which was themed like a bumblebee haha.. yellow bits here and there... low and sleepy looking thing with rather unique eyelids.. it looked good as the whole thing worked.
