Even some of the minters have hidden issues and i've still to stand next to one and say yes that needs nothing doing to it.
I wouldn't buy a williams unless I could take a fair few panels off and check whats underneath, how many people would actually let you go to their house and start...
if you don't have deep pockets then don't!
Just totting up your list to do it properly theres over 4k worth of work. plus the starter car.
I'd personally go out and buy the very best car you can - budget 4k and be very patient.
And I 100% know what I'm talking about as I've been there and...
Re: 2 gay shaped clios at le mans 24hr races
Not all, some do, I was never like that - when I had both the willy and the 172 i was happy to own both and to get into either.
mk2's are restrained looking compared to mk1's but so much better built for me, It's nice not to have wash your car...
looks fantastic as it is matey!
I'd keep the bonnet - it looks great, it would also be a pig to sell as its painted white, not many white mk2's on here!
Re: 2 gay shaped clios at le mans 24hr races
Most mk1 owners, I've found, seem to be incapable of liking any other mk/phase of clio.
As much I loved my williams and still desperately want another one I do have the capacity to see (and own) a newer clio and not insult or laugh at it. :)
if you want a newer car get a 182, if you want to save some money get a 172
the manifold doesn't make an extra ten bhp, a cup is only faster if you're a better driver than the guy in the 182 and I personally think 182 exhausts look really tacky!
In all honesty the reason I got a 172 over a 182...
The ending made me so ANGRY!
I'll not give it away but when it all ended and I realised I now have to carry on doing the other tasks as I now have to I switched it off and ignored it for 4 days lol.
I'm on 92% something now.
Re: Mk1 Hybrid rebuild
Crumbs I can't believe I am about to say I don't like those wheels on that!
I'd be running the std turbines all the time personally - I think the 6.5j would suit it better too.
