    Getting grip... tyres, spacers, suspension?

Trackday based tyres are road legal. Rsr, ado8, 888 etc

Four rsrs are 205 ish plus 30 ish fitted? Two more r1r's are £88 fitted? So for an extra £150 you will have 4 great tyres? Or buy 2 rsrs at 120 fitted and save 125 on the four, or there Abouts. If your determined to stick with the t1r's get another two. I wouldn't personally

Seems your set on the t1r's lol. They look good, cheap but will ruin a trackday experience unless you drive like miss daisy. Awaits the 'well I drive on £5 tyres and they were great, just need to be careful' Sigh. It's the main point of contact to the road. Not saying spend hundreds, but £200...

Good call on the r1r. Supposed to be ace in the wet.

Rsr are fine in this weather imo. People run 888's when it's wet and aslong as it's not standing water you should be fine.

I would also buy 205's. Maybe in my head but go better with them.

    Getting grip... tyres, spacers, suspension?

I've tried on track, normal and a track clio Rsr twice Hankook v12's Pe2 Ado8r's 888 And another track orientated tyre, forget the name now On the pe2(16")i couldn't wait to swap to rsrs (15).

T1r on track? Complete waste of money and sanity when doing a track day. Just buy some federal rsr as they are a nice balance. Also mixing tyres won't be helping matters.

    Advise on roll cage

Not necessary but certainly safety conscious if the worst happens.

    Alternator?

Check the wiring on the alternator first off. Have a search on here for that fault.

    loose gearlever

Sounds like the dog bone needs replacing or atleast the bushes. Most power flex the bushes or the evol mount, same sort of thing. If you haven't got the above anyway it's worth doing anyway mate

    Advise on some modifications

Exhaust 2.25 or 2.5 the former being quieter. I have the Ktec system, decat and unsilenced centre and it sounds great, not too loud. Induction kit. Fatty or the Ktec kit. Standard is fine but the above gives a nice noise. Wouldn't worry about matching inlets unless you really want too. £ over...

    Battlefield 4

Had a couple of games after months last night. Couple of us up until 2.15am lol Prefer this to bf1 tbh. Graphic wise it's obviously behind the times but teamwork and guns are awesome after playing bf1. I appreciate it's a different game etc. Still lots of people playing too :)

    Carbon Lorraine rc5+ or Ds2500?

The ones @JB21 suggested a while back to me. Initially I wasn't keen but after a few miles they are great for how I drive on the road. £22 ish

    Carbon Lorraine rc5+ or Ds2500?

From memory I would say dusty. The ferodo premier pads I have now are good, cheap too.

    Advise on some modifications

Mani 182 no difference and an ass to fit Decent tyres, suspension, brakes, efi map will be the way to go. Oh and a smaller wheel unless you drive busses.
