I would take the shaft off, fully degrease the whole area and surrounding components and the splines on the box and inside the shaft.
Put some thick cv grease (only a smear) inside the shaft and put it back on.

Yeah I do too, the Ph1 front end looks loads better than the Ph2, but the Ph2 has a better rear. Luckily I've got the best of both.

Definitely change the side vents for carbon if you can or get them painted. Darker ones would look much better.
